Key Responsibilities:

1. Operate heavy vehicles with a 7000 kg license to transport goods to specified destinations.
2. Ensure the safe and timely delivery of goods, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
3. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
4. Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring the security and integrity of the goods.
5. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and address any issues.
6. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
7. Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures to minimize risks and ensure the safety of self and others.

Requirements:

1. Valid 7000 kg license.
2. Proven experience as a driver, preferably in a logistics or transportation company.
3. Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations in Jamaica.
4. Excellent driving skills and a clean driving record.
5. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including loading and unloading cargo.
6. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
7. Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing exceptional customer service.
8. Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
